About this notice.
This notice explains how benssur Architects usually collects, uses, stores and shares personal information received through this website, email, telephone and project discussions. It should be read with the Website terms.
Information we collect.
Information may include your name, email address, telephone number, site address or suburb, project type, budget range, preferred timing, project description, correspondence and documents you choose to provide. We may also keep records created while assessing an enquiry or providing agreed architectural services. Please do not send sensitive information that is not needed for the initial enquiry.
How we collect and use information.
Information is usually collected directly from you when you email, call, meet with us or use an enquiry form made available on this website. We use it to assess project fit, respond to you, arrange discussions, prepare proposals, provide agreed services, coordinate project participants, keep normal business records and meet legal, insurance or professional obligations.
Website enquiries.
If a website enquiry form is available, information submitted through it may be stored as a private record in WordPress and sent to admin@benssurarchitects.com.au so the studio can assess and answer the enquiry. Do not use a website form for urgent matters or send documents containing unnecessary sensitive information.
Website analytics and cookies.
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is found and used and to improve its content and performance. The standard implementation may collect user and session statistics, approximate location, browser and device information, referring information, pages viewed and interactions. Google Analytics uses first-party identifiers such as the _ga cookie to distinguish users and sessions. Website hosting and security services may also record technical information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page and time of access. We do not intentionally send your name, email address, telephone number or enquiry text to Google Analytics.
Your analytics choices.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies may change some website functions, but the main architectural information and contact details remain available.
Sharing, service providers and overseas processing.
Personal information is not sold. It may be handled by providers that support website hosting, security, WordPress, email through Google Workspace, analytics through Google Analytics, professional advice or agreed project delivery. These providers may process information outside Australia, including in the United States and other places where they operate. Project information is shared with consultants or other project participants only when reasonably necessary for an enquiry or agreed work, or where disclosure is required by law.
Storage, security and retention.
Reasonable steps are taken to protect information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, project, business records, legal, insurance or professional requirements, or dispute management, then deleted or securely disposed of where practical.
Access, correction and removal.
You may ask what personal information is held about you, request a correction, or ask for information to be removed where it is no longer reasonably required. Some records may need to be retained for legal, insurance or professional reasons.
